Terms of Service
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Overview
These Terms of Service apply to use of the OnSiteTech website and to requests for computer repair, IT support and related services. By using the website or submitting a service request, you agree to use the site lawfully and to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Service Requests Are Requests Until Confirmed
Submitting a booking or preferred time does not by itself create a confirmed appointment unless OnSiteTech explicitly confirms it. OnSiteTech may contact you to clarify the problem, service location, timing, availability or other details before confirming a visit.
Service Scope
OnSiteTech provides computer and IT support for homes and businesses. The exact service that is appropriate depends on the device, symptoms, condition, location and what is found during assessment. Website descriptions are general information and do not guarantee a specific diagnosis, repair method or result.
Labour Pricing
Confirmed standard on-site labour is $99 per hour. The first hour is billed in full, followed by 30-minute increments. Confirmed remote support is $65 per hour. Parts, equipment and applicable travel are separate when required. Applicable additional work or cost should be explained before approved work proceeds.
No-Fix Labour Rule
If OnSiteTech cannot repair the problem, there is no repair labour charge. Applicable travel or visit-related charges, if any under the confirmed pricing policy, may still apply.
Warranty
OnSiteTech provides a 30-day warranty on performed labour. The warranty applies to the work actually performed and does not automatically cover unrelated problems, new failures, misuse, accidental damage, malware reinfection, third-party changes, parts outside their applicable warranty, or conditions that were not part of the original work. Final exclusions should be reviewed before publication.
Parts & Equipment
Where parts or equipment are required, availability, compatibility, price and warranty may depend on the specific device and supplier. No part should be represented as approved for purchase or installation until the customer has agreed to the applicable price and next step.
Customer Data & Backups
Customers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups where reasonably possible. Repair, diagnostics, upgrades, malware removal, data recovery and operating-system work can involve risk to data. OnSiteTech should take reasonable care but cannot promise that data will always be recoverable or preserved. Any stronger limitation wording requires legal approval.
Access to Devices & Accounts
The customer is responsible for providing lawful access, passwords or permissions reasonably required to perform approved work. OnSiteTech should not request passwords or access unrelated to the service being performed.
Remote Support
Remote support should only be used when appropriate and with the customer’s permission. The customer may end the remote session at any time. Any remote-access tool used in production must be identified and configured securely.
Third-Party Products & Services
Some work may involve third-party software, hardware, internet providers, manufacturers or cloud services. Their products and services are subject to their own terms, availability, warranties and policies.
Website Information
Website content is provided for general service information and may be updated. OnSiteTech should avoid unsupported guarantees, fake reviews, fake local offices, guaranteed same-day claims or technical capabilities that have not been confirmed.
Limits & Mandatory Rights
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation-of-liability clause used in the final production terms should be reviewed for the business and applicable law before publication.
Applicable Law
The final production terms should identify the applicable governing law and dispute forum for the business, expected to be Alberta, Canada, subject to mandatory consumer and other applicable laws.
Changes to These Terms
OnSiteTech may update these terms when services, pricing, processes or legal requirements change. The current version should show its last-updated date.

Questions about these terms can be submitted through the OnSiteTech contact form or by calling 403-870-7772.
