Simple Pricing. No Guessing What’s Wrong.

On-Site Computer & IT Help $99/hour

You don’t need to diagnose the problem before you book.

Tell us where you are and what’s happening. We’ll start there.

You’ll know how our pricing works before approved work begins—and if additional parts, equipment or work are needed, we discuss that with you first.

Here’s How On-Site Pricing Works

We keep the labour rate simple.

$99/hour

  • On-Site Labour

    $99/hour

For home and business on-site service.

  • Billing

    First hour, then 30-minute increments

The first hour is billed in full. After that, labour is billed in half-hour increments.

  • Parts & Equipment

    Separate when needed

Parts, replacement hardware, equipment or applicable software are not included in the hourly labour rate. If something additional is needed, we explain it and review the applicable cost before approved additional work.

  • Travel

    Based on your location

Travel pricing depends on where the service visit takes place.

No complicated repair menu. No pretending every computer problem takes the same amount of time.

Where Should We Come?

Choose Your Service Area

Once you choose your location, we’ll use it to show the relevant travel pricing and carry it into your booking.

You shouldn’t have to select your city twice.

“Okay… But What Will My Repair Actually Cost?”

The useful answer isn’t a made-up flat repair price.

Two computers can show the same symptom and need completely different work.

So instead of pretending every repair has the same total price, we keep the pricing structure clear:

  1. You tell us what’s happening

  2. We start with the problem

  3. We determine what the computer actually needs

  4. Additional costs are reviewed before approved additional work

  5. You decide whether to continue.

Diagnose first. Spend second.

What If You Can’t Fix It?

No Fix, No Labour Charge.

If the device can’t be repaired, you don’t pay repair labour. An applicable visit/travel charge still applies.

  • In Calgary

$10 visit/travel charge. No repair labour.

  • Outside Calgary

$10 + the applicable $1/km travel charge. No repair labour.

That’s the rule—not something hidden at the bottom of the page.

What Are You Paying For?

  • We Come to You

For appropriate on-site services, we work at your home or business instead of automatically making you take the computer to a shop.

  • We Start With the Problem

A laptop that won’t charge doesn’t automatically need a battery. A slow computer doesn’t automatically need an upgrade. A Wi-Fi problem doesn’t automatically mean you need a new router. Check first. Replace second.

  • You Approve Additional Work

If the problem requires additional approved work, parts, equipment or another cost, we review that before proceeding.

  • The Labour We Perform Is Backed

Our 30-day warranty applies to the labour performed within the applicable warranty terms.

You Don’t Need to Know Which Service to Book

You’re not expected to know whether your problem is hardware, software, Windows, macOS, battery, Wi-Fi, malware, storage or something else.

You can simply tell us what is happening.

  • My laptop won’t turn on.
  • My Mac keeps freezing.
  • My computer is really slow.
  • My Wi-Fi keeps dropping.
  • My printer stopped connecting.
  • Windows 11 won’t install.

That’s enough to start.

What Do You Need Help With?

Home or Business — Same On-Site Labour Rate

Our standard on-site labour rate is $99/hour for both home and business on-site service.

The type of problem, required time, applicable travel and any approved additional requirements determine the final visit cost—not a different hourly rate just because the computer is being used for business.

Need Remote Help Instead?

Some computer problems may be appropriate for remote support.

Remote Support
$65/hour

Remote support is different from an on-site visit and only makes sense when the problem can appropriately be handled remotely.

If you don’t know whether remote or on-site help is appropriate, you don’t need to decide technically yourself. Tell us what’s happening.

Pricing FAQ

Is $99 the total price of my repair?

Not necessarily. $99 is the standard hourly rate for on-site labour. The final cost depends on the time required, applicable travel and whether approved parts, equipment or other costs are needed.

How is labour time billed?

The first hour is billed in full. After the first hour, labour is billed in 30-minute increments.

Do home and business visits have different hourly rates?

Our standard on-site labour rate is $99/hour for both home and business service.

Are parts included in the $99 hourly rate?

No. Parts, replacement hardware, equipment and applicable software are separate when required. We review applicable additional costs before approved additional work.

Do I pay if you can’t fix my device?

If the device can’t be repaired, there is no repair labour charge. The applicable visit/travel charge still applies: currently $10 in Calgary, or $10 plus the applicable $1/km travel charge outside Calgary.

Is travel free in Calgary?

For a successful repair visit, Calgary travel is free under the current pricing policy. If the device cannot be repaired, the applicable Calgary no-fix visit/travel charge is $10.

How much is travel outside Calgary?

The current travel formula is $1/km from Calgary city centre. Your selected service area should show the applicable travel amount once verified distance data is available.

Can you tell me the exact repair price before coming?

Sometimes the required work may already be clear, but many computer problems need diagnosis before the total amount of labour or any required parts can be known. We don’t want to invent a flat price before understanding the problem.

What happens if you find something else wrong?

If the problem requires additional approved work, parts, equipment or another applicable cost, we explain it before proceeding.

Do I need to know what’s wrong before booking?

No. Tell us what the computer is doing. That’s enough to start.

How much is remote support?

The current remote-support rate is $65/hour for problems that can appropriately be handled remotely.

What does the 30-day warranty cover?

The 30-day warranty applies to the labour performed by OnSiteTech within the applicable warranty terms. It does not turn unrelated problems, new damage or work outside the original scope into warranty repairs.
